Transportation in Brussels
Brussels enjoys a well organised public transportation system with a well integrated network of trams, airport trains, buses, and a metro. There is also an hourly intercity train which runs from Brussels to Amsterdam, and is run jointly by the Dutch and Belgian Railways. Brussels is also well linked to other railway networks in Europe. The Eurostar London to Brussels takes less than 1 hour 51 minutes to reach Brussels, and is the fastest train journey time between London and Brussels. Thalys is another high-speed train servicing Brussels and shares the same rail track with Eurostar. While Eurostar links Brussels to St. Pancras Station in London, via the Channel Tunnel, the Thalys train from Amsterdam to Paris passes through Brussels, Rotterdam and Antwerp. Other Belgian cities like Bruges and Antwerp are a short train or car journey away.
