Brussels Marathon – It is held on 10th October annually. The race starts at 9am on the Esplanade du Cinquantenaire Park running through the city centre’s avenues, boulevardsand parks and finishing in the Grand Place. Kids Marathon starts at 10:15 am. Participation in marathon will cost €40
Skoda Jazz Festival – In this festival more than 400 musician perform with their best composition in the city’s finest concert halls and on the most beautiful squares in Brussels. The festival starts on 28th May to 30th may annually.
Flower Carpet – You will see about 700,000 flowers go into the magnificent display, with a panoramic view.A huge area at the centre of Grand-Placeis celebrated withfloral work of art every year. A giant carpet is laid out to a pre-determined theme. It's an incredible sight as each year a huge team of artists and helpers set to work creating this famous display from turf and fresh begonias.The floral celebration starts from 13th August till 15th August annually.
Belgian Beer Weekend – As Belgium is worldly famous for biggest range of different beers labels and over 50 breweries are represented each year. In this event you will get the best selections of beers on sale at reasonable prices held on the most beautiful squares of Brussels. Visitors can also experience the various steps needed in making of beer, the beer making tools which were founded in 1900, are still in use today.This event is held from 3rd September to 5th September annually and the event cost is free.
Brussels Antiques and Fine Arts Fair - Here you will get to seedifferent paintings, decorative arts and furnishing from international level. The fair is held in Tour and Taxis Building which starts from 21st January till 30thJanuary annually. Entry cost is€20.
Lesbian Gay Pride Day – This event attracts more than 15,000 participants, which runs till midnight. In this four main events are held stating from church service, a political debate and a city tour on foot and by bicycle.The parade starts through the streets of the city centre, beginning and ending at Boulevard Anspachand finally, the Pride Party with 15 DJs. Street party includes bars, stalls, music, and entertainment in the Bourse area. The event is held in AncienneBelgiqueand starts from 14th May till 16th May. Most of the event entry is free of cost.
Art Brussels – You will find the showcase work of artists with their wonderful and amazing work from chocolates to jewellery making. The fair will provide you opportunity to buy these artistic works like: handmade objects, crafted materials.It also features 125 galleries from over 20 countries. This fair is held in Brussels Tour & Taxis and starts from 29th October till 1st November annually. Schedule timing is : daily 10am to 7pm. Entry cost is €8.50; concessions €6.50 and under 12 is free
Plaisirsd’Hiver - It is held for the upcoming Christmas festival. In this festival you will find Christmas market stalls and you can enjoy the open-air ice skating. It starts from 26th November till 2nd January and held annually.
Modo Brussels Fashion Designers Trial – This event brings top designers and famous brands to Brussels for every two year. It is a frizzy event organized by Modo Brussels. At this time the city is lined with chic clothes boutiques and antiques shops.The fest starts from 22nd October till 24th October and held annually in CentraleElectrique. Entry cost is €8.
